Arlington Heights police received a report about 8:01 AM Monday March 18, 2019 of a vehicle burglary in the block of 400 South Lincoln Lane Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders entered the victim’s unlocked black 2014 Chevrolet. The victim’s personal belongings were strewn about the vehicle.
Reported taken from the vehicle was a pair of sunglasses valued at approximately $100.
Several vehicles were later seen via video surveillance traveling slowly through the area at the time of the event. Also, a subject was later seen via video surveillance running alongside the vehicles.
The crime is reported to have occurred between Sunday, March 17, 2019 at 8:00 PM and Monday, March 18, 2019 at 8:00 AM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 12:00 (hours: minutes).
