Sharpening by Dave will have a pop-up shop at the Arlington Heights Historical Museum on Sunday, March 3, 2019 to service sharpening needs.
Dave is an experienced knife sharpener who travels throughout the Chicagoland area offering on-site and off-site sharpening, as well as specialty sharpening and expert tips and tricks. In addition to sharpening kitchen knives, Dave provides garden tool sharpening for mower blades, pruning shears, and shovels. This event is just in time for spring.
The Arlington Heights Farmers Market Committee is responsible for organizing this event (and two more like it coming up on Sun 4/14 and Sat 5/11). They are “pre-season market events,” which is something new we’re trying this year in order to better serve the community.
Also, we know it’s supposed to be bitter cold this weekend, so the museum gallery and Arlington Room will be open for anyone who wants “while you wait” service.
