Palatine police responded about 5:14 PM Saturday to a report of a cougar sighting in the 0-99 block of South Walnut Street. Police received a report that a cougar was sighted heading eastbound through the neighborhood. Resident wanted the area checked. Police are checking, but no confirmation.
