VIDEO: DUI crash at Central Road and Douglas Avenue with driver of pickup truck arrested and transported to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters.

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 6:15 PM Sunday to a report of a personal injury crash at Central Road and Douglas Avenue. Police arrived first to find a GMC Yukon at the southeast curb and a full-size pickup truck about 40 yards into a lot on the property of the Moorings Health Care Center.

Police arrested a male driver of the white pickup truck — apparently for DUI. The driver of the white pickup truck was apparently headed westbound on Central Road when made a left turn to head southbound on Douglas Avenue while failing to yield to the GMC Yukon that was headed eastbound on Central Road. The driver of the white pickup truck was transported to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters and the pickup truck was transported to a police holding area.

Firefighter/paramedics checked out at least one victim of the crash, but no injuries were reported.
