On December 15th, 2012, at 6:45 a.m., at the Arlington Heights Target Store, 1900 E Rand Road, Arlington Heights Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 80 and Target will host their annual “Shop With A Cop” event.
The purpose of this event is to promote a positive image of the Arlington Heights Police Department and the entire police community. We realize the public does not always get to see the police in ideal situations. With this in mind, Shop With A Cop places a child from the Arlington Heights community with an Arlington Heights police officer and together they will shop for holiday gifts.
This year we will be providing 12 children, ages 7-10, with $100 Target gift cards. Students from John Hersey High School will be present and assist with shopping and gift wrapping.
