DENSE FOG TO CONTINUE THROUGH THE MID MORNING HOURS…

AN UNSEASONABLY WARM AND MOIST AIRMASS WILL KEEP DENSE FOG IN
PLACE THROUGH DAYBREAK ACROSS NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST
INDIANA. FOG WILL THEN BEGIN TO DISSIPATE FROM SOUTH TO NORTH
THROUGH THE MID MORNING HOURS.

Breezy, with a south wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Showers and thunderstorms before midnight, then a slight chance of showers between midnight and 3am. Low around 43. Breezy, with a south wind 15 to 20 mph becoming west northwest 5 to 10 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
