Arlington Heights Vehicle Burglary on Woods Drive Nets Over $3500 Value, Including Camera and Accessories

Arlington Heights police received a report about 4:15 AM Sunday of a vehicle burglary in an apartment parking lot in the 1700 block of Woods Drive. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders smashed the driver’s side window of a black 2008 Ford Mustang. The owner of the vehicle also discovered that the driver’s side seat was moved forward, and then discovered items missing from the vehicle..

Reported missing was a Canon EOS 7D SLR camera (valued at $1500) with a Canon model 580 flash (valued at $400). Also missing was an EF 24-70 lens valued at $1400, a 16 GB SD memory card (valued at $10), a Canon battery grip (valued at $150) and a Canon lens filter (valued at $75).

The crime is reported to have occurred between Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, November 11, 2012 at 4:15 a,m.
