Prospect Heights police responded about 4:55 PM Friday to report of an attempted armed robbery at MacArthur Middle School, 700 North Schoenbeck Road. Police received a report that two high school-age offenders attempted to rob the victim. One of the offenders held a knife to the victim’s friend’s neck.
One of the offenders was reported wearing a white hoodie and white pants. Both offenders ran toward the direction of John Hersey High School.
