Update on Residential Burglary on South Surrey Lane, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 7:00 AM Monday of a residential burglary in the 1600 block of South Surrey Lane. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders broke into a sun room and stole a briefcase.

An unknown offender or offenders removed a screen and entered the sunroom through the partially open window. A Dunlop guitar volume pedal valued at $50 and a black laptop computer bag was removed. The residents were home sleeping at the time of the burglary.

The crime is reported to have occurred between Sunday, September 30, 2012 at 10:30 p.m. and Monday, October 1, 2012 at 6:15 a.m.
