Arlington Heights police responded about 7:20 PM Friday to a car vs. pole crash at Rand Road and Kennicott Avenue. Police reported a downed pole and no injuries at the crash. Public works was called for downed pole on the north side of Rand Road.
The driver was arrested DUI and transported in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters. The driver’s Toyota Camry was towed to a police holding area.
