Arlington Heights police discovered a vehicle burglary about 1:00 AM Wednesday at Courtyard of Marriott Chicago Arlington, 100 W Algonquin Road. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders shattered another vehicle and then discovered that the driver side window of a second vehicle — a red 2011 Ford Escape — was also shattered. The vehicle renter could not be located to confirm if any items were missing. There was a GPS cord attached to a mount on the windshield with no GPS unit.

The crime is reported to have occurred prior to 1:00 a.m. before it was discovered by police investigating the other vehicle burglary.
