Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 4:54 AM Monday to a report of two men bleeding in an apartment in the 500 block of East Seegers Road. Police were first on the scene and reported one of the victims was a victim of a dog bite. Police learned that a fight or some type of disturbance occurred. The dog was secured inside the apartment.

Two subjects were the subject of a police search for battery. They were described as two male/white subjects — one wearing a red sweatshirt and one wearing a white tank top. The subjects were last seen heading southbound through the apartment complex.

Apparently the victims did not want to press charges.

No word on the extent of injuries.
