Attached Garage Fire Extends to House at Wolf Road and Strong Ave, Wheeling

Wheeling police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 10:02 AM Friday to an attached garage and house fire near the intersection of Wolf Road and Strong. Police and firefighters received a report of a garage fire. Firefighter/paramedics reported smoke header seen as soon as they left the fire station.

Firefighters received a report that all residents were evacuated from the residence before arrival of firefighters and police.

Firefighters reported the attached garage fire had extended to the house, and that their were additional exposures at risk.

Firefighter/paramedics from Buffalo Grove, Northbrook and Lincolnshire-Riverwoods assisted Wheeling Fire Department.

The fire was reported under control at about 10:29 a.m.
