Attempted Theft of 2nd Flat Screen TV After First TV Was Stolen from Fitness Center on S. New Wilke Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 11:08 AM Tuesday of an attempted theft in the 1100 block of South Old Wilke Road. Police received a report that a flat screen television showed signs of an attempted theft. The attempted theft was believed to have occurred overnight. Vizio flat screen TV valued at $400 was damaged in what appears to be an attempted theft. The wall bracket valued at $60 was also damaged.

Arlington Heights police received a report about 11:23 AM Friday, July 20, 2012 of a theft at the Mallard Cove Condominium Fitness Center, 1130 South New Wilke Road. Police received a report that a flat screen television was taken Thursday night or early Friday morning. One television was ripped off of the wall in the fitness center. A second flat screen television was not removed, but showed signs of attempted theft — apparently attempted overnight from Monday to this morning.
