Rolling Meadows police responded about 6:04 PM Wednesday to a report of a man with a gun in the 5000 block of Carriageway Drive. Police received a report that an offender got out of a black Ford Mustang parked, near the pool house, and got a revolver out of his trunk.
First, a male subject in his 50’s with long scruffy hair, wearing a hat and light colored T-shirt was seen heading toward Fountains on the Lake. Then a man in his 20’s pulled up in the black Ford Mustang looking for the older male subject after pulling the gun out of the trunk.
The offender was described as a male/white in his 20’s with short brown hair wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans. He was last seen running toward his vehicle and driving northbound on Carriage Way toward Algonquin Road.
