Arlington Heights police received a report about 9:17 PM Tuesday of a solicitor complaint in the 1800 block of North Ridge Avenue. Police received a report that a solicitor was told by a resident that the resident was not interested. After the resident closed the door, the solicitor spit on the front door before he walked away.
The offender possibly left in a white van with green stripes. The offender was described as a male/black wearing a baseball cap and baggy clothing.
