Inverness police received a report about 4:47 a.m. Wednesday of a residential burglary in the 200 block of Inverway. Police received a report a resident arrived home to find items missing and drawers and closets ransacked.
The crime is reported to have occurred after 10:30 a.m. today. The resident checked the ingle-family home before police arrived.
