Buffalo Grove police received a report about 2:25 p.m. Wednesday of attempted retail theft of liquor from the Dominick’s, 770 South Buffalo Grove. Police received a report that male/juvenile attempted to steal a bottle of gin — trying to run out of the store. When he was spotted, he dropped his backpack with the bottle of gin inside and was last seen headed westbound on Dundee Road.
The offender was described as a male/black juvenile wearing a multi-colored stripe hoodie and black pants.
