“Rockin’ with the Cops” at Pioneer Park; Arlington Heights Police Throw a Party for 5th Grade Grads

The Arlington Heights Police Department’s “Rockin’ with The Cops,” event held at Pioneer Park, 500 S. Fernandez Avenue Friday night was a big success with a big turnout.

The “Rockin’ with The Cops” event, held this year on Friday, June 1, 2012 from 7-10 p.m., is designed for Arlington Heights fifth grade students. the event celebrates their academic achievements prior to entering middle school and offers a fun night of positive interactions with Arlington Heights Police Department officers.

Pizza!
The night is a great opportunity for the students to see police officers in a positive light, and getting to know local Police Officers while enjoying a fun night of games, swimming, a K-9 demonstration, music, food and prizes. Did we mention there was pizza?

Arlington Heights police officer Jeffrey Aiello organized the event.
