Attempted 2 AM Break-in Reported on North Donald Ave, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police responded about 2:14 a.m. Thursday to the 100 block of North Donald Avenue to a report of a burglary in progress. Police received a report that an unknown offender was trying to gain access to the garage. Police also received a report that the homeowner heard what appeared to be someone trying to pry open a door on the north side of the house.

Police arrived within three minutes, but no offender was seen near the house. No report of police contact with any subjects, and no report of any arrest.
