Theft of Mower Thwarted by Landscapers at Beverly Ave and Euclid Ave, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police responded about 10:22 a.m. Monday to a report of an attempted theft at Beverly Avenue and Euclid Avenue. Police received a report that offenders attempted to steal equipment and a mower from a landscaping truck that was parked near Beverly Avenue and Euclid Avenue. The owner of the truck yelled at the offenders while they were attempting to steal the equipment, and the offenders fled.

Multiple offenders were in a white dump truck with a red enclosed trailer. The offenders — no description available — were last seen fleeing southbound on Beverly Avenue from Euclid Avenue.
