Arlington Heights police received a report about 2:51 a.m. Friday of a vehicle burglary in progress in the 300 block of East Seegers Road. Police received a report that a vehicle window was smashed on the laundry room side of the apartment building. Police received and updated report that a male and a female got inside the vehicle — described as a dark-colored mid-size sedan. No word on police contact with the vehicle, which left the area within one minute of the initial dispatch call. Auto theft not confirmed.
