Long Grove, Palatine Rural, and Barrington firefighter/paramedics responded about 6:20 a.m. Tuesday to a report of smoke showing from a laundry room in an apartment building laundry room at 2328 Nichols Road in unincorporated Arlington Heights.
Firefighters requested Cook County sheriff’s deputies respond to the scene because of issues with heavy traffic in the apartment complex with drivers driving over the hoses.
The fire was reported out by about 6:35 a.m.
