Schaumburg police responded about 2:49 a.m. Sunday to a report of a hit-and-run with no injuries at westbound Schaumburg Road at Springinsguth. The victim/driver followed the offending vehicle — a dark blue Acura, which was reported to be ‘all over the roadway.’ Police stopped the vehicle within about two minutes.
The driver was arrested and transported in custody to Schaumburg Police Department Headquarters. The driver was possibly arrested DUI — not confirmed.
Another driver was arrested DUI after a traffic stop at another location on Schaumburg Road about 3:21 a.m.
