Mount Prospect Police Stop Possible Fight Brewing?
Mount Prospect police responded about 8:34 p.m. Wednesday to a report that several subjects jumped out of a car with baseball bats — as if to fight — near Wheeling Road and Cedar Lane.
Police were on the scene within a minute and reported a lot of activity with people running around in the area of Boxwood Drive and Wheeling Road.
Police stopped a vehicle at Boxwood Drive and Wheeling Road, but another vehicle — a white 4-door vehicle — headed northbound on Wheeling Road.
Mount Prospect police caught up with a vehicle on Wheeling Road, just south of Palatine Road. A female was driving four male passengers. Prospect Heights police assisted Mount Prospect police.
No word on any arrests or charges.
