Arrest After Burglary in Progress Call: Man in Custody After Climbing Condo Balconies on North Windsor Dr, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police responded about 12:51 a.m. Monday to a report of burglary in progress in the 1600 block of North Windsor. Police received a report that a man was climbing up the balconies of two condo/apartment units in the 1600 block of North Windsor Drive. The suspect was described as a male subject wearing a white sweatshirt and white pants, who was climbing the 1631 building.

Police arrived within three minutes, and had the man in custody. The suspect was in custody by 12:56 a.m. Monday. One male was transported in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters. He was apparently charged with trespassing or residential burglary — no confirmation from police.
