Teen Arrested for Criminal Trespassing at McDonald’s on Dundee After Disregarding Trespass Warning

Arlington Heights police responded about 6:12 p.m. Thursday to a trespassing complaint at McDonald’s, 15 East Dundee Road. Police received a report that a male/teen that has been warned by police about trespassing was on the McDonald’s property. The subject was described as a male/black, medium build, wearing a white shirt and beige pants, and carrying a basketball. He fled northbound toward the Buffalo Grove High School football field when police arrived.

Buffalo Grove police assisted Arlington Heights, and a Buffalo Grove police sergeant apprehended the subject about a block or two northeast of the Buffalo Grove High School football field. The subject was transported in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters.

No word on what the history was involving the no trespassing warning for this particular subject, but McDonald’s had a problem about one year ago, including a stabbing, and began a strict zero-tolerance no trespassing policy for offenders that committed offense, such as disorderly conduct and worse.
