Oops, Customer Still in CVS Pharmacy at Irving Park Rd, Schaumburg; All Employees Home for the Night

Schaumburg police responded about 10:25 p.m. Sunday to a report that a customer was stranded inside a closed CVS Pharmacy, 1855 West Irving Park Road. Police received a report from a customer that all the employees left the store and that he was still inside the store. First police officer on the scene reported, “we definitely have a customer in here.”

Police were working on getting an agent of the pharmacy to respond to help the customer out of the store. The store at 1855 West Irving Park Road closes at 10:00 p.m. on Sunday.

The person in the store was placed in custody while police and the store agent reviewed video security images to confirm that no thefts or suspicious activity occurred. No word on any arrest.
