Yuron Robinson Charged Murder of Henry Nowak of Park Ridge Strangulation Murder

Yuron Robinson, 34, from Chicago was arrested Sunday, February 12, 2012 by Chicago police as he boarded a bus for Iowa. Yuron Robinson has since been charged wih first-degree murder in the death of Henry Nowak, who also was known as Henry “Chip” Mallek.

Novak, who grew up in Park Ridge, was found dead with his hands tied behind his back in a commuter parking lot in the 200 block of Summit Avenue on February 9, 2012.

Novak’s cell phone was found several blocks away by a citizen and reported the found property to police.

Robinson was apprehended Sunday by surveillance teams and Chicago Police. After investigation, police believe that Robinson and Nowak met in Edison Park and argued over money that Robinson owed Nowak for a drug transaction.
