Arlington Heights police responded about 1:12 p.m. Monday to a report of a purse theft that just occurred at Great Clips in the 300 block of East Palatine Road. Police received a report that a woman had a purse in a shopping cart and turned away. When she looked back, the shopping cart and purse were gone.
