Suspicious Person Smells Like Marijuana; Touching People’s Belongings at Downtown Metra Station, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 7:52 a.m. Wednesday of a suspicious man at the Metra train station in downtown Arlington Heights. Police received a report that a man, who smelled like marijuana was walking around and touching peoples’ personal belongings. The man was described as a male/black wearing a navy blue jacket and a gray scarf.

About two minutes later police received a report that a female was sleeping in the women’s room. Apparently her baggage was also in place next to her in the bathroom.

Police investigated both subjects. No word on any arrests.
