Girfriend Accused of Theft of About $3,700 in Buffalo Grove

Buffalo Grove police received a report of a theft of about $3,700 in cash and property from a home in Buffalo Grove. Police received a report that a resident returned home from a brief absence and found $3,700.00 in cash and property missing from his home. The resident believes that his ex-girlfriend took the items. The resident’s mother stated that she saw the ex-girlfriend at the house removing something. Police spoke with the ex-firfriend and she denied taking anything.

The crime is reported to have occurred between 2:10 a.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2011 and 11:00 pm on Friday, December 30, 2011.
