Police Rescue Apparently Intoxicated Man Who Walked Into Pond Near Belinder Ln and Hartung Rd

Schaumburg police responded about 2:35 a.m. Friday to the area of Belinder Lane and Hartung Road to a request for a check for well-being. Police responded immediately and found an apparently highly intoxicated man walking into a retention pond. Police rescued the man from the pond while he was yelling. Police requested firefighter/paramedics to responded on care for the man who was apparently under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
