Hoffman Estates police responded just before 12:10 am. Wednesday to a report of an arm robbery near McDonald’s 2250 Higgins Road in Hoffman Estates. Police alerted area police departments that the location of the armed robbery was in the 2100 block of Botsford Place, about two blocks north of the McDonald’s.
Two suspects are known by name by police: Suspect #1 is a male/white, 24-years-old wearing all black clothing, including a dark hooded sweatshirt. Suspect #2 is a male/white, 22-years-old, wearing all black clothing, including a dark hooded sweatshirt. At least one of the subjects was armed with a handgun and took money from the victim.
Schaumburg Police Department assisted Hoffman Estates in the search for the offenders.
