Arlington Heights police received a report about 11:49 a.m. Friday of a theft from the Barnes & Noble, 13 West Rand Road. Police received a report that a female left the store with a designer bag and merchandise stuffed under her coat.
The female fled in gray mid-size SUV about 11:44 a.m. Friday. Arlington Heights police are investigating and checking the license registration of the vehicle.
