Apartment Fire at Renaissance Towers, Palatine

VIDEO: Firefighter responded from Renaissance Place to an apartment fire at 1085 Dundee Quarter.

Palatine firefighter/paramedics responded about 12:10 AM Wednesday to an apartment fire at Renaissance Towers, at 1 Renaissance Place. Firefighters reported a fire on the sixth floor but a resident reported that the fire was already out. At least one victim was seen by paramedics as soon as Palatine firefighters arrived. No word on any transportation to the hospital.

Firefighters were searching the sixth and seventh floors at about 12:15 AM. Residents that were evacuated to the lobby were allowed to returned to their residences within about an hour.

Firefighters responded to a another fire about 12:54 a.m. Wednesday at 1085 Dundee Quarter to a report of an oven fire. Police reported heavy fire inside, but the fire was immediately extinguished.
