Elk Grove Village police received a report about 2:58 p.m. Tuesday of criminal damage to vehicle at the Walmart parking lot, 801 Meacham Road. Police received a report a white Hummer was keyed. The female driver of the Hummer reported that before the criminal damage, a man approached her and told her that she almost ran him over. The woman thought that he might have been the offender.
