Battery Victim at Schaumburg Golf Club; Police Looking for Broken Golf Club

Schaumburg police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 4:26 p.m. Wednesday to a report of a battery victim at the Schaumburg Golf Club, 401 North Roselle Road. Police called for backup for an extra police officer to help look for a broken golf club on the golf course near the 16th hole.

A battery victim was transported to a local hospital by Schaumburg firefighter/paramedics, and an evidence technician worked at the golf course scene and at the hospital.

Possibly one male transported in custody to Schaumburg Police Headquarters — not confirmed.
