Mount Prospect police responded about 10:35 a.m. Tuesday to a possible ruse/scam in the 2700 block of Briarwood Drive West, Mount Prospect. Police received a report that solicitors demanded money from an elderly resident for driveway repair. Police received a report third party that the offender demanded $1200 for repair of the driveway.
The offender or offenders left before police arrived. No description available as of 11:00 a.m. Tuesday.
