Art Around the Town Studio Tour at Arlington Heights Historical Museum

For one day only, visitors can get a glimpse of local artists’ creative spaces. On October 9, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., sixteen artists will participate in the third annual Art Around the Town studio tour.

The studio tour and artwork sale will be open to the public for one afternoon only. Take this opportunity to meet local artists, tour their studios and purchase original art. Artists who do not have a local studio will show and sell their artwork at the Historical Museum. All types of art media are represented in the tour including painting, illustration, stained glass, photography, watercolors, drawing, and ceramics.


Participating artists and studios are: Thrown Elements Pottery, Barbara Gonyo, Will Hamm, Lynnea Semasko, Eileen Jorgensen, Monart Drawing Studio, Terri Murphy, Mary Hart, Marjorie Tauber, Mark Johansen, Veronica Sebastian Potter, Sandra Hart, Gary Swiontek, Ann Musolf, Susan Thomson, and Jack Musich.

The tour begins at the Arlington Heights Historical Museum’s Heritage Gallery located at 112 W. Fremont St. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. Tickets may be purchased in advance at ahpd.org or at the door the day of the event.

Participants will receive a booklet directing them to the participating studios, but will need to provide their own transportation. Refreshments and rest rooms will be available at the Museum.
