Huge Fire at Waxahachie Chemical Plant: MyFoxDFW.com
A major fire with explosions, flames, and black smoke has nearly fully engulfed the Magnablend Chemical Plant at 1601 US Hwy 287 in Waxahachie.
WFAA HD Chopper 8 captured flames surrounding and engulfing a fire department ladder truck.
Wedgeworth Elementary School, the closest school to the plant, has been evacuated and parents were picking up children Monday morning.
The Waxahachie campus of Navarro College was also evacuated and all classes were cancelled for the remainder of the day.
No injuries have been reported.
