Mount Prospect police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 8:36 a.m. Wednesday to a report of a hit-and-run incident involving a pedestrian at Memory Lane and Russel Street. Police arrived first to find a 15-year-old pedestrian injured. Witnesses reported the victim was hit by a blue sedan that fled southbound on Russel Street. The vehicle was reported to be driven by male driver.
