Police Stop Nissan Versa Believed to Carry Retail Theft Suspects from Kildeer Ulta

Police in the Arlington Heights area and northwest suburbs were looking for two female black suspects in a burgundy vehicle after Kildeer police notified police statewide that two suspects were wanted for retail theft. The two females were suspects involved in a retail theft case at an Ulta store in Kildeer, involving a loss of about $800 of products. Staff at the Arlington Heights Ulta store, 456 East Rand Road,who were alerted about the suspects by the Kildeer store staff, reported that they were in the Arlington Heights store about 4:58 p.m. Friday. They reported that no theft occurred in the Arlington Heights store. The two suspects left the Arlington Heights store driving a burgundy passenger car described as having Iowa license plates.

An alert Arlington Heights police officer spotted the vehicle at southeastbound Rand Road near Thomas Street, and described the vehicle as a burgundy Nissan Versa with three people occupying the car.

Arlington Heights police were committed to a traffic stop with the vehicle at about 5:05 p.m. at a golf cart path at Rolling Green Country Club, just off of Rand Road.

Police were sorting out the details of the case with Kildeer police and the Kildeer Ulta store last night. No word on arrests of the suspects.
