Arlington Heights police and firefighters responded about 5:50 p.m. Wednesday to a sparking power line near Arlington Heights and Olive Street, which was related to a power outage that hit middle-North Arlington Heights neighborhoods.
Police responded to darkened stoplights at Arlington Heights Road and Olive, Thomas and Lillian.
Com Ed was called out to the scene before 6:00 p.m. to respond to a request for repairs.
