Water flow after truck hits sprinkler head.

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 3:00 p.m. Thursday to an accident involving a truck and a sprinkler head in the 0-99 block of North Vail Avenue. Firefighters worked to shut down water flow from a broken sprinkler head in an underground parking garage at residential condominium and retail building.

Additional alarms were activated as another residential condominium building just to the west of the building on Campbell Street detected changes in water pressure. Firefighters responded to check on the safety and found only temporary issue with the alarm caused by dropped water pressure.
