Motorcycle In Excess of 100 MPH Central and Arlington

#ad▼

Cook County Sheriff police alerted Arlington Heights and Mount Prospect police about 11:50 p.m. Thursday that a motorcycle was observed eastbound on Central Road traveling in excess of 100 mph. A Cook County Sheriff’s deputy attempted to stop a fleeing motorcycle, but immediately terminated the pursuit because of safety issues.

A motorcycle traveling at this speed and striking a passenger vehicle often causes a crash that can send the motorcyclist through the interior of the passenger car, killing or seriously injuring people inside the passenger car.
