Arlington Heights police received a report about 1:15 a.m. Saturday of a disturbance and then a robbery of a guest at the Red Roof Inn, 22 West Algonquin Road. Police received a report that a female victim was robbed by a male/black, 24-years-old, 5’10” stocky build, short haircut with waves in his hair, last seen wearing a white T-shirt, jeans, red and black jacket. The suspect fled in a newer model silver Chevy Monte Carlo.
The offender took a black Dereon purse with gold chain handle, contain $1,500 [images Derreon purses].
