Damien Deanda, 39, of 1533 N. Windsor in Arlington Heights was charged late last week with three counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault, a Class X felony, according to Cook County State’s Attorney’s office spokeswoman Tandra Simonton.

Damien Deanda was charged with sexually assaulting three teenage girls in his northwest suburban apartment/condo unit during the past year. A suspect was arrested about 12:40 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2011 at the Condo/Apartment address near John Hersey High School and near Rand Road and Thomas Street. Police marked units and detectives were on the scene, and took a man into custody. The man was transported to Arlington Heights police department. A K-9 unit was also called to the scene.

On Friday, May 6, 2011, Deanda was ordered held on $350,000 bond.

Damien Deanda is accused of sexually abusing a 15-year-old girl, he called his girlfriend, and a 13-year-old girl and a 16-year-old girl.

Deanda is reported to have fondled and had sex with his “girlfriend,” who was 14 at the time, in front of her 13-year-old friend between March 18 and March 28, 2010 at his apartment. He allegedly then had sex with the 13-year-old girl after taking out a handgun and giving both girls Ecstasy, marijuana and alcohol, according to court records.

The sexual acts continued between August 2010 and April 2011, when the “girlfriend” turned 15, according to prosecutors.

On March 7, 2011, Damien Deanda allegedly forcefully fondled and had sex with a 16-year-old girl in his apartment. Prosecutors said the female teen knew him from a mutual friend. The female teen put her pants on and ran away when Deanda went to the bathroom after having sex with her.

The 16-year-old and the 15-year-old “girlfriend” went to police to report the sexual assaults on April 27, 2011.

Damien Deanda’s criminal history includes a conviction of vehicle theft conspiracy in June 1994, with a sentence of four years in prison. Deanda also was convicted of battery in 2003 and was sentenced to 18 months probation. He was also ordered to stay away from children under 18 as a special condition, court records said. No information is available as to which arrest prompted the order to stay away from children.
