Swarm: Mob of Teens Overwhelms Clerk at Las Vegas Convenience Store

A mob of young people swarmed a convenience store in Las Vegas, Nevada stealing $600 in merchandise, and the entire thing was caught on camera.

Las Vegas police responded to a report a mob of teens that invaded the City Stop 12 convenience store on Sunset Road and Pecos Road (6495 S Pecos Road) and stole $600 in merchandise. The crime is also known as a “swarm” crime.

Offenders stole beer, beef jerky, candy bars, soda, potato chips, and alcoholic beverages, and the clerks cell phone.


Metro police report the crime is being investigated as a burglary and grand larceny. Some customers recorded images of the offender’s license plate numbers. The offenders were at the crime scene in the store for three minutes and 30 seconds. At an elapsed crime time of two minutes, some of the offenders came in for seconds.
