CORRECTION: The following crime was originally reported as criminal damage to vehicle. In fact the crime report involved a burglary to vehicle.
Arlington Heights police received a report about 7:10 a.m. Friday of criminal damage to a vehicle while parked next to Fox & Hound Smoke House & Tavern, 910 West Dundee Road. Police received a report that a window was smashed in a gray Lexus ES350.
An offender or offenders removed a Dell laptop computer and black case that was in plain view.
The crime is reported to have occurred between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. Friday, April 29, 2011. A rear window of a Lexus SUV was smashed on Monday April 25, 2011 on the 800 block of South Ridge Avenue.
